Glasgow & Edinburgh: A Tale of Two Cities

Where history, creativity, and everyday life meet.

I live in Glasgow, a city full of energy, creativity, and industrial charm, but I commute to Edinburgh, where history, academia, and festival spirit fill the streets. These two cities have become my daily backdrop, each offering something different—Glasgow with its bold murals and music-filled nights, Edinburgh with its cobbled closes and dramatic skyline. Glasgow and Edinburgh are two cities that continue to inspire me in different ways—one brimming with artistic energy and old industrial charm, the other steeped in history and intellectual heritage. Through my lens, I capture their contrasts and connections: from Glasgow’s vibrant street art and lively music scene to Edinburgh’s winding roads, historic landmarks, and annual festival spirit. This collection is a visual love letter to the places I walk every day, a blend of architecture, people, hidden corners, and personal discoveries.

Beyond these two urban hubs, Scotland’s beauty extends far and wide, and I love capturing it. This album also includes moments from other Scottish cities and towns, from the medieval echoes of Stirling to the breathtaking landscapes of the Highlands and Isles. Whether it’s a misty loch at sunrise, a historic castle standing against the wind, or a quiet street in a small coastal village, these photographs reflect my deep appreciation for Scotland’s unique character and ever-changing beauty.
