L3 Learning: Cognitive and Emotional Journeys in Third Language Acquisition

Focusing on third language (L3) learners, this research examines how people manage cross-linguistic interference and what cognitive and emotional challenges they face when learning an additional language. The project explores the role of cognitive control, language transfer, and motivation, aiming to inform better teaching practices for multilingual learners and understand individual differences in L3 learning success.
